Here's more on what I do as a Tropical Vedic Astrologer, as well as a short section of Frequently Asked Questions.
Thanks for reading!

What I Do
I offer Vedic Astrology readings using the Tropical Ayanamsa, not Sidereal calculations like many Vedic Astrologers use.
What does this mean? Your session with me will include Vedic techniques, principles and philosophies. However, the calculations that I use are more similar to what’s used in Western Astrology. Unlike Western Astrology that mainly focuses on the Signs, I give astrology readings that are House-based.
During your reading with me, we'll be discussing the on-the-ground issue(s) that you’re most concerned about, however, please know that I'll always be bringing our conversation back to the context of your Soul. A large part of what I do involves helping you remember your Wholeness, your place in the grand scheme of All Life and the ultimate liberation you already possess.
What I Don't Do
I’m not a psychiatrist, therapist or licensed counselor. If you’re needing specific help that I cannot provide, please seek out other professionals who specialize in areas that I do not.
I’m not a psychic. Please don’t expect me to read the desires of your subconscious or tell you about deceased loved ones. I greatly appreciate your input and involvement in your reading so that things make sense for you and for me, and you can get the most out of our time together.

FAQs
Why do you use Tropical instead of Sidereal calculations?
When I found the lineage of brilliant people practicing Tropical calculations who weren’t content with the inaccuracies of Sidereal, I immediately became impressed and inspired to use the Tropical Ayanamsa. I then found that readings for my clients became even more accurate than before.
Tropical calculations are based on the Sun’s positioning while Sidereal is based on the Moon. Think of yourself as a diamond. Tropical calculations shine a light into your diamond from one angle, and Sidereal from another. You're still the diamond no matter what. Examining your life from a Tropical standpoint, your birth chart gets lit up in a clearer and brighter Solar way than Sidereal. It’s about the actual experiences you have. The Moon’s light is a reflection of the Sun and therefore a secondary, more emotion-based experience which creates inaccuracies.
My experience is that viewing your life through the Tropical lens has been more spot-on.
There have been many discussions on this topic. If you'd like to explore it further on your own, I suggest visiting my teacher's posts on the matter here, searching under "tropical." You may also find this document written by Ernst Wilhelm incredibly fascinating.
What do you think about fate or free will?
Each of us are a mixture of Karmic Fate and Free Will. Depending on how thick or thin certain karmas are in your natal makeup, you’ll find some patterns harder to shift and some easier.
As quoted in Paramhansa Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi, Sri Yukteswar (1855 - 1936) said, “The message boldly emblazoned across the heavens at the moment of birth is not meant to emphasize fate—the result past good and evil—but to arouse man’s will to escape from his universal thralldom. What he has done, he can undo.
None other than himself was the instigator of the causes of whatever effects are now prevalent in his life. He can overcome any limitation, because he created it by his own actions in the first place, and because he has spiritual resources which are not subject to planetary pressure.”
It's been my experience and understanding that we're a blend of both Fate and Free Will.
Do you prescribe Vedic remedies?
If you’re interested in "burning through" karmas at an accelerated pace or easing some of the mental stresses that can come with karmic events, I can offer a few Vedic remedies and a few non-Vedic suggestions. There are several practices which I’ve embodied personally and can recommend whole-heartedly. Please feel free to ask about this highly-individualized bonus during your reading.
